The 2014 SUPAA Rulebook was written with the input of stand up paddle athletes, event organizers and industry personnel to help race organizers put on a successful event and cultivate the positive growth of the sport. SUPAA is not sanctioning events in 2014 but encourages race organizers and athletes to read the rules and provide feedback to SUPAA so we can move forward as a unified voice of the paddler. The rules can also be used as a tool to help organize a successful stand up paddle board event.
The SUPAA Rulebook is designed to eliminate the ambiguity of racing rules and to establish a clear and constructive template in which to operate an event. SUPAA is passionate about creating a framework in which stand up paddle board racing can prosper. View the 2014 SUPAA Rulebook and implement the rules or encourage your local event organizer to adopt them and provide feedback.
We are available for support before, during and after your event. Visit the Race Management page for a free event consultation and to find out about our Race Official Certification.
